Rank and rent for mortgage brokers
A website already ranking on Google for local mortgage searches, with every enquiry going to your brokerage and nobody else’s.
Mortgage enquiries that come to you first
Most mortgage brokers know where their work comes from: estate agents, solicitors, existing clients and the occasional recommendation. Those sources are valuable, but they are also fragile. An agent moves on, a referral partner changes its mind, or the market cools and the phone goes quiet. Meanwhile, every week, people in your area are searching Google for help with a mortgage.
Rank and rent gives you a source of enquiries you control. We build a website around the mortgage searches people make in your area, get it ranking, and set up the Google Business Profile and listings that go with it. Then we rent the site to one broker in your area for a set monthly fee. Every call and enquiry goes to you, and we do not rent the same site to a rival down the road.
There are no per-lead charges, no bidding and no sharing the enquiry with other brokers. You just answer the phone and do what you are good at.
What people search for when they need a mortgage
People who search for mortgage help are usually at a clear moment: buying a home, coming off a fixed rate, or buying their first property. A ranked site is written around those moments.
“Mortgage broker near me”
The broadest local search, often from someone who wants a person rather than a comparison site.
“First time buyer mortgage advice”
Buyers who feel out of their depth and want somebody patient to explain the steps.
“Remortgage advice”
Homeowners whose fixed rate is coming to an end and who want to avoid a jump in their payments.
“Buy to let mortgage broker”
Landlords and investors, who often return for further purchases.
“Self employed mortgage”
Contractors and business owners who worry that lenders will not take their income seriously.
“Mortgage adviser in [your town]”
A direct local search from someone ready to book a conversation.
Why rank and rent suits a mortgage brokerage
One client is worth more than one case
A buyer you help today often comes back to you when their deal ends, when they move, or when they buy another property. That lifetime value makes a set monthly fee easy to justify.
You are not racing other brokers
Comparison sites and lead resellers often sell one enquiry to several brokers. A rented site sends it to one brokerage only.
A second source of work
If you depend on estate agents and referral partners, a ranked website adds enquiries that do not depend on any one relationship.
A cost you can plan around
You pay the same amount each month, whatever the market is doing. You are not paying per click or per lead, so a slow month does not leave you out of pocket twice.
What your site would actually include
Because mortgage advice is regulated, the site is built to carry everything it should.
Pages for each type of client
First-time buyers, home movers, remortgages, buy-to-let and self-employed applicants, each written in plain English around the questions they really ask.
Your regulatory details
Space for your firm name, FCA number and permissions, and the repossession warning that mortgage promotions need, as agreed with you and, if you are an appointed representative, with your network.
A clear explanation of how you are paid
A simple section on fees and any lender commission, because people trust a broker who is upfront about it.
A simple way to book
A tracked phone number, a short enquiry form and an option to request a call back, all routed to you.
A Google Business Profile and reviews
Set up and active, with room for genuine client feedback, which matters a lot to anyone about to make the biggest purchase of their life.
A calm step-by-step guide
A plain explanation of the process from first chat to completion, so nervous buyers feel looked after before they call.
Rank and rent, a simple example
Imagine you want to build a giant LEGO castle, but you need to borrow a lot of bricks from a bank, and there are lots of banks with different rules. You ask Google, “Who can help me find the best deal?”
We build a bright sign that says “Brick-borrowing helper, ask here” and put it at the top of the busiest street, where everyone looks first. That sign is the website.
You rent the sign from us for the same amount each month. Anyone who walks up to it talks to you, and only you. We keep the sign in the right place, and you help the people who come to find it.
01. We check your area
We look at how many people search for your services in your town and how strong the competition is.
02. We build and rank
We build the site, set up the Google Business Profile and listings, and push it up Google.
03. You see it working
Real calls and enquiries show it is bringing in work before you commit.
04. You rent it
You pay one set monthly fee. Every enquiry goes to you and only you.
A few things to know before you rent
Mortgage advice is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and what you say on your website counts as a financial promotion. It has to be clear, fair and not misleading. We build the site with space for your FCA details and the required warnings, and we do not make claims about rates or approval that you cannot back up.
If you are an appointed representative of a network or principal firm, your principal will usually need to approve your website content before it goes live. Tell us early who needs to sign it off. A rented site is a website with a flat monthly fee, not a fee for each client sent to you, but you should still check with your compliance contact before you sign.
Rank and rent works best for brokers with the capacity to take on new clients and to respond quickly. Someone searching for a mortgage will often speak to more than one broker, and the first to call back usually gets the case.
What it costs
The set monthly fee depends on your area and how competitive it is. A big city, where many people search and several brokers are competing, will cost more than a small town. We give you one price when we check availability, with no per-lead charges.
